We encourage ALL students at Marshalltown Community College to apply for scholarships. Often, students will tell us that they did not fill out our scholarship application form because:
- “My parents make too much money; I won’t get anything.”
- “My grades aren’t that great; I won’t get anything.”
- “I filled out the financial aid forms; isn’t that enough?”
We have scholarships for students from any income bracket, and we have many scholarships with minimum GPA requirements of 2.0 – 2.5, and some do not consider grades at all.
