Consent

By registering for this overnight camp, I acknowledge and agree to the following: I am the parent or legal guardian of the participant listed in this registration. I give permission for my child to participate in the Overnight Camp hosted by the Marshalltown Community College Foundation (MCC Foundation). I understand that camp activities may involve physical activity, travel, overnight lodging, and outdoor experiences that carry inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, property loss, or unforeseen events. I acknowledge that these risks cannot be entirely eliminated. In consideration of participation, I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless the Marshalltown Community College Foundation, their officers, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising from my child’s participation in the camp, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Student Conduct Agreement

I understand that my student is expected to follow the behavior expectations and guidelines set by the camp supervisors and MCC coaches. If my student violates expected behavior or conduct guidelines, they may be removed from the camp and will not be allowed to return for any remaining days. By checking this box, I acknowledge that my student needs to follow these guidelines. I also acknowledge that if my student does NOT follow these guidelines that I am expected to pick them up from the camp immediately, that they are NOT allowed to return, and that I will NOT be issued a refund for my student being removed from the camp.

Damage Policy

I understand that if my student damages or destroys any MCC equipment or property, my family assumes full financial responsibility for repaying any damages incurred.
