Gary Schaudt, President
Gary joined the MCC Foundation Board in 2010, and became the president in 2013. Gary currently works for SagePoint Financial in Marshalltown. He grew up in Marshalltown and is active in many local civic organizations. Gary tries to be involved with all the committees.
Norma Meade, Vice President
Norma joined the board in 2003, and became Vice President in 2013. She currently practices law in the area with Moore, McKibben, Goodman and Lorenz. She grew up in the area and attended MCC. Norma also serves on the Fundraising/Events committee.
Suzanne Mead, Treasurer
Suzanne joined the board in 2015. She officially took on the treasurer role in 2016. Suzanne is the Chief Financial Officer at Farmers Savings Bank in Marshalltown. She is a long-time Marshalltown resident. Suzanne is the chair of the Finance/Investment committee.
Suzanne’s family has two endowed scholarship funds: the Janet White Mead Scholarship and Mead Family Farms.
Jim Goodman, Secretary
Jim joined the board in 1982, and has served in many roles on the Executive Committee, including president and vice president. He has been Secretary since 2002. Jim currently is a partner in the law firm of Moore, McKibben, Goodman and Lorenz. He is a long-time Marshalltown resident. Jim also serves on the Finance/Investment committee.

Jim Bowman
Jim joined the board in 1976. He served in the treasurer role from 1981-2015, but has also served as president. Jim recently retired from his business of Bowman and Miller, CPA. He is a long-time Marshalltown resident. Jim serves on the Finance/Investment committee.
Jim’s family also has endowed the Bowman Family Business Scholarship.
Chris Edel
Chris joined the board in 2013. He is currently an insurance and investment agent with Farm Bureau Financial Services in Marshalltown. Chris serves on the Finance/Investments committee.
Dean Fogarty
Dean joined the board in 2013. He is currently President and CEO of H & F Distributing and Fort Dodge Distributing. Dean serves on the Fundraising/Events committee.
Vic Hellberg
Vic joined the board in 2003. He owns and operates Hellberg’s Jewelers in Marshalltown. Vic serves on the Fundraising/Events committee.
George Johnson
George joined the board in 2021. He retired from MCC in the spring of 2021 after teaching for 36 years. George has an endowed memorial fund for his parents, the Dwaine and Jo Johnson Memorial.
Becky Merrill
Becky joined the board in 2021. She raises horses and is active in the community.
Becky sponsors annual scholarships in the Darwin & Becky Merrill Scholarship fund.
Jerry Stephens
Jerry joined the board in 2010. He recently retired from a career in school administration, most recently as Principal at the Meskwaki Settlement School. Jerry serves on our Fundraising/Events committee.
